Ordermaster (Saga of Recluce, Bk. 13)

The cooper Kharl has taught himself order magic and helped a king. But he no sooner takes possession of Cantyl, the estate bestowed upon him by Lord Ghrant, ruler of Austra, when he is summoned back to Valmurl, the capital, to aid Hagen, the lord-chancellor, in dealing with rebellious lords. Kharl is forced to discover and use even more deadly order magery. Civil order is restored and Ghrant's throne is firmly secured.
